The <\/span>Gratitude Foundation was <\/span>formed in the fall of 2023 as an IRS approved 501(c)3 organization. \u00a0The mission of the foundation is to give voice to God\u2019s Word in an ever challenging and even hostile social environment. \u00a0St. John the Baptist proclaimed himself to be a <\/span>\u201cvoice of one crying in <\/span>the desert, make straight the way of the Lord.\u201d \u00a0<\/span>At his birth, his father Zachariah, six months mute, was given his voice. \u00a0It was the birth of a voice. \u00a0The <\/span>Gratitude Foundation <\/span>is the birth of a voice, the voice of God taking on flesh in a new wilderness. <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>After Jesus cured the ten lepers only one came back to give thanks to God. \u00a0And Jesus asks the question, \u201cWhere are the other nine, has only this foreigner come back to give thanks to God?\u201d \u00a0These are some of the most haunting words of Jesus.<\/span> \u00a0Where is <\/span>gratitude<\/span>? \u00a0Two thousand years later we <\/span>must<\/span> ask the same question. \u00a0There is an amazing lack of gratitude in our world today and an overwhelming sense of entitlement. \u00a0What a different world view this dichotomy projects! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fr. Glenn is deeply convinced from his own experience that faith begins with gratitude. \u00a0In his words, \u201cOnly when we see ourselves as we truly are, God\u2019s beloved sons and daughters, redeemed by the Blood of Christ; only then can we see the world through the eyes of gratitude, gratitude for a God who loved us into existence an<\/span>d does not want a world without us, and gratitude for His Only Begotten Son who took our place on the Cross and died for our sins, who rose from the dead to show us the gift of eternal life. \u00a0Only then can we begin to live a life in Christ Jesus. \u00a0Gratitude opens our hearts to union with Him. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The mission of the <\/span>Gratitude Foundation <\/span>is to follow the example of Jesus, to meet people where they are, not to judge but to love. \u00a0Jesus did not leave them where He found them. \u00a0He invited them to follow Him,<\/span> to begin a journey with Him to the Father. \u00a0At the Last Supper Jesus prayed, \u201cFather may they be One as You and I are One.\u201d \u00a0The starting point varies from one soul to another. \u00a0The battle is the societal grip of entitlement. \u00a0The journey is with Jesus, through His Church and His Sacraments. \u00a0The journey is through His Altar of Sacrifice, the Table of Plenty where Jesus takes and blesses and gives thanks to the Father. \u00a0The<\/span> goal is oneness with God. \u00a0Ultimately the journey begins with gratitude and ends with gratitude which itself is a gift from God.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tI first encountered Fr. Glenn\u2019s preaching on Ash Wednesday, 2006.\u00a0 It only took one homily, and my family and I realized that Fr. Glenn has a very special gift.\u00a0 Fr. Glenn is clearly very spiritual, and that comes through in all of his homilies and reflections.\u00a0 His spirituality is not aloof, or inaccessible.\u00a0 His holiness is authentic, grounded, accessible and on fire.\u00a0 And, that fire is shared, such that the listener also becomes on fire, and inspired to go deeper with Scripture, with God and with our neighbor.\u00a0 Fr. Glenn has inspired me to engage at the deepest level and to work to find my spiritual path, always encouraging, mentoring, coaching.\u00a0 I would strongly encourage anyone who can to attend one of his Masses, homilies, or podcasts.\u00a0 Catch the fire of the Holy Spirit working through Fr. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tFr. Glenn has many charisms, which he displays by his compassion, theological intelligence, spirituality, and love of God. His compassion is continually displayed when he visits the sick of the parish. His manner of prayer and conversation is definitively a gift from God. His spirituality is very evident when he preaches. His homilies are instructive, encouraging and centered on God\u2019s infinite love for each of us. Fr. Glenn is a teacher, a mentor, and a wonderful listener who encourages those around him to follow Jesus more closely. He is Spirit filled, Spirit led and Spirit giving!\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
